Azure Cloud Engineer

Job summary

Designs, builds, and scales self-service Azure capabilities and platform products for internal DevOps teams, making cloud services easier, safer, and faster to consume. The role delivers enterprise-scale Azure solutions and reliable, observable platform services, using infrastructure as code and automated CI/CD pipelines while embedding security, compliance, identity, networking, policy, and governance controls.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including AKS, virtual machines, networking, Azure Monitor, Azure Active Directory, IAM, Azure SQL, and Databricks
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale landing zones using Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM, Bicep, and PowerShell
• Experience configuring, managing, and enforcing Azure Policy and governance controls
• Expertise building and managing YAML-based Azure Pipelines
• Ability to build self-service capabilities, reusable platform products, templates, APIs, and integration patterns
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across DevOps, development, and architecture teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in Azure engineering or a related field
• Preferred software development or programming experience
