Azure Cloud Engineer

Job summary

Implements hybrid and multicloud platforms on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including Enterprise Landing Zones and AI-ready environments aligned with Cloud Architect designs. Automates infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD, supports cloud migrations and application modernization, and contributes to technical integration, validation, production deployment, and documentation. The role also develops reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and automation for cloud data, AI, and machine learning services.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, storage, and Linux or Windows systems.
• Practical Terraform experience; CloudFormation, ARM, or Bicep experience is valued.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container platforms.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automation tools.
• Experience scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of cloud data and AI platforms, AI-ready architectures, and managed generative AI and machine learning services.
• Knowledge of IAM, cloud security controls, and security hardening.
• Associate or Professional certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is desirable.
• Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement hybrid and multicloud architectures, integrating cloud services with on-premises environments.
• Implement Enterprise Landing Zones, networks, identities, and shared services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Deploy AI-ready cloud platforms and the data and infrastructure services needed for AI and machine learning solutions.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and CI/CD tools.
• Support cloud migration, application modernization, and integration projects.
• Develop technical configurations and integrations for cloud platforms and services.
• Support delivery teams during implementation, migration, and production deployment.
• Contribute to technical reviews, architecture validation, and solution validation.
• Prepare technical documentation and project deliverables and support knowledge transfer.
• Develop and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and cloud automation scripts.
• Contribute to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and reusable cloud standards.
