Job summary
The Azure Cloud Engineer maintains and updates Azure solutions across multiple customer environments, coordinating release cycles with the development squad and ensuring deployments remain reliable and current. The role includes preparing new environments, processing batch tickets such as security findings and configuration changes, troubleshooting automated deployment and update processes, and standardizing recurring work. The solution portfolio includes Azure Foundation, Managed Dark Tenant, Azure Data Foundation, and Azure Container Foundation.

Qualifications
- Practical experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS
- Understanding of Azure landing zone architecture
- Experience with Terraform or OpenTofu
- Everyday experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub
- Understanding of Azure networking and security, including Private Endpoints, DNS, Entra ID, RBAC, and Azure Policy
- Careful, structured approach and willingness to follow processes and document work
- Clear communication in German and English
Responsibilities
- Deploy new releases of Azure solutions across customer environments
- Coordinate update cycles with the development squad
- Prepare customer environments by initializing repositories, applying parameters, and performing initial deployments
- Process batch tickets across customer environments, including security findings, workflow adjustments, and configuration changes
- Troubleshoot automated deployment and update processes and escalate issues to the development squad when needed
- Handle managed-service tickets and support architects with recurring technical tasks
- Identify opportunities to standardize or automate recurring workflows
- Document rollout and update learnings
