Azure / DevOps Engineer – Financial platforms

Job summary

The Azure / DevOps Engineer role focuses on building and managing reliable platforms for financial institutions, ensuring critical applications for Finance, Credit Risk, Payments, and Regulatory Reporting are continuously available and secure. Key responsibilities include automating deployments, designing CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and collaborating with various teams to enhance operational processes and compliance measures.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration management
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
• Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus
• Experience in a bank, asset manager, or other regulated environment is a strong plus
• Experience with platforms for Finance, Credit Risk, or Regulatory Reporting is highly welcome

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve Azure platforms and critical financial applications
• Support platforms for Finance, Credit Risk, Payments, and Regulatory Reporting
• Design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Implement and professionalize Infrastructure as Code
• Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability
• Monitor availability, performance, and scalability
• Support cloud migrations and application implementations
• Analyze incidents and implement structural improvements
• Translate security, compliance, and audit requirements into technical measures
• Collaborate with developers, application support, security, Finance, and Risk
• Automate operational processes and reduce manual tasks
• Contribute to platforms for trading, treasury, Credit Risk, Payments, or asset management
