Job summary
The Azure DevOps Engineer is responsible for managing the Azure platform for Astral products, ensuring the delivery of scalable and secure multi-tenant SaaS software. Key responsibilities include environment management, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, overseeing release management, and ensuring security and cost optimization across the platform.
Qualifications
- 5+ years managing production Azure environments
- Experience with CI/CD and deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Proficient in infrastructure as code practices
- Strong understanding of secure platform design
- Experience with monitoring and disaster recovery for live services
- Familiarity with Agile SCRUM methodologies
- Knowledge of SQL Server for managing environment data
Responsibilities
- Provision, configure and maintain the Astral environment estate
- Build, maintain and continuously improve Azure DevOps pipelines
- Plan and execute deployments to production
- Manage secrets and certificate management
- Oversee observability, alerting, backups and disaster recovery
- Monitor and optimize Azure spend
- Maintain current runbooks and documentation
- Participate actively in the Scrum team
