Job summary
The Azure DevOps Engineer designs and operates secure, scalable Azure infrastructure and reliable cloud platforms. The role builds YAML-based CI/CD pipelines, provisions environments with Terraform, deploys Docker workloads to AKS, and implements monitoring, incident response, and DevSecOps controls using tools including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, and Prometheus. The engineer collaborates across development, QA, security, architecture, and operations teams to deliver enterprise cloud solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of DevOps experience.
- At least 3 years of Azure cloud experience.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Azure Cloud Adoption Framework or large-scale enterprise cloud migrations is preferred.
- Exposure to SRE practices, SLIs and SLOs, and incident management is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including YAML-based pipelines.
- Automate application builds, deployments, and releases using Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Artifacts.
- Design and manage scalable Azure infrastructure, networking, security, and governance controls.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and automate Azure resource provisioning.
- Deploy and manage Docker workloads on AKS and support Helm-based deployments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution, and improve platform reliability.
- Integrate vulnerability scanning and code-quality tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, architecture, and operations teams, and mentor junior engineers.
