Job summary
Administer and improve Azure DevOps and related delivery tools, supporting platform governance, security, consistency, and delivery teams through an initial uplift and ongoing operations. Configure organisations, processes, permissions, repositories, agent pools, service connections, and environments; support security remediation, reporting, integrations, and Logic Apps automation; and help transition users from Confluence and Jira to endorsed tools. The role also provides platform guidance and support to users.

Qualifications
- Approximately 2–3 years of relevant Azure DevOps experience
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps organisations, projects, permissions, inherited processes, work item types, and workflows
- Understanding of repositories, pipelines, agent pools, service connections, and environments
- Experience supporting platform administration, configuration, or governance
- Understanding of access controls, security groups, Entra ID, and least-privilege principles
- Ability to handle routine administration independently and escalate complex or high-risk changes
- Strong attention to detail and interest in platform quality and consistency
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Exposure to Logic Apps, Power Automate, or similar automation tools is desirable
- Python development experience is desirable
- Strong GitHub administration experience is highly regarded
Responsibilities
- Administer Azure DevOps organisations, extensions, and core configuration
- Maintain inherited processes, work item types, workflows, fields, states, and layouts
- Restructure projects, repositories, and pipelines to improve security, consistency, and usability
- Manage permissions and access in line with Entra ID and least-privilege principles
- Implement approved cybersecurity remediation changes and assist with access reviews
- Configure and maintain agent pools, service connections, and environments
- Assess routine change requests and apply agreed standards and governance
- Support reporting, data quality, and platform integrations
- Maintain and improve automation using Logic Apps
- Administer Lucid and Smartsheet
- Support the retirement of Confluence and Jira and transition users to endorsed tools
- Maintain documentation, reference materials, and guidance for delivery teams
- Provide support and advice on Azure DevOps and related delivery tools
