Job summary

The Azure DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable multi-cloud infrastructure and applications, primarily for the United States Air Force. This role involves cloud design, development, and integration, with a focus on Azure, automation using tools like Ansible and Jenkins, and ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 8 years' experience in industry with a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Active Security Clearance Required: Secret
• DoD 8570 compliant certification: CompTia Sec+
• Experience in developing tools and processes for DevOps or DevSecOps maturity
• Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite, IBM WebSphere, and Red Hat OpenShift
• Ability to host applications on commercial cloud providers, focusing on Azure
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker or Kubernetes
• Ability to work with application development teams across the software development lifecycle
• Expertise in cloud services for compute, storage, networking, security, and automation

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and optimize secure IL2-IL6 cloud solutions in Azure
• Navigate client-facing engagements and work in tandem with other vendors
• Contribute to technical discussions with customer or vendor teams
• Focus on cloud-native services and optimize customer landscape
• Define and engineer solution capabilities to meet service delivery objectives
• Lead/support cloud migration strategies and establish environments across networks
• Implement automation for provisioning, configuration, security, and monitoring
• Integrate cloud services with analytics tools
• Support infrastructure security design and compliance documentation
• Develop and apply engineering methods for cloud environments
