Job summary
An Azure Engineer designs, deploys, and manages cloud-based infrastructure and services within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role focuses on building and maintaining a secure, scalable digital environment that powers applications, collaborating with DevOps teams to streamline application code releases.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for task automation.
- Deep understanding of VNETs, Subnets, NSGs, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker containers.
- Hands-on experience with IaaS (VMs, Networking) and PaaS (App Services, SQL, Functions).
Responsibilities
- Provision and configure virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
- Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Implement identity management (Microsoft Entra ID), firewalls, and encryption to protect data.
- Use Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to track performance and optimize cloud costs.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline application code releases using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Design and maintain backup and failover strategies to ensure system availability.
