Job summary

As an Azure Infrastructure Engineer, you are responsible for building, operating, and continuously developing the Microsoft cloud infrastructure. You work on optimizing the Azure platform and serve as a technical contact for Microsoft 365 and security solutions in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Completed training as an IT specialist (system integration) or comparable degree
• Multiple years of experience in the Microsoft cloud environment
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, and SC-300)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• Good knowledge of PowerShell and Terraform
• Very good German language skills at B2 level for smooth internal and external communication

Responsibilities

• Planning, operation, and optimization of the entire Azure platform
• Management and further development of M365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint
• Implementation of security policies, identity protection, conditional access, and Microsoft Defender
• Administration of identities, roles, groups, and authentication procedures
• Development of PowerShell scripts and automation of administrative processes
• Monitoring the Azure environment, analyzing performance metrics, and capacity planning
• Collaboration on cloud projects and support for IT management in architecture, infrastructure, and security topics
