Job summary
Implements and operates Microsoft Azure platform services, automation, security, and governance controls, turning architecture principles and operational requirements into secure, reliable, cost-efficient cloud solutions. The role supports data platforms, enterprise integration, and business application hosting, including Azure Policy-as-Code, compliance tracking, cost monitoring, and remediation. It also advises cross-functional delivery teams and supports production environments.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, cloud operations, and platform engineering.
- Knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, networking, monitoring, and observability.
- Understanding of cloud governance, operational controls, compliance, and FinOps.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, integration patterns, and application hosting services.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and support production environments.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
- Experience implementing and operating Microsoft Azure services in production.
- Experience with cloud automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.
- Experience supporting business-critical platforms and applications.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Implement and operate Azure platform services, automation, and governance controls.
- Maintain Azure security and governance controls, including approved Azure Policy-as-Code components.
- Operate budget alerts, consumption dashboards, and cost anomaly detection.
- Maintain compliance evidence, track policy deviations, and implement remediation actions.
- Deliver Azure services and automation for data platforms, enterprise integration, and business application hosting.
- Translate architecture principles and operational requirements into deployable, maintainable, documented Azure solutions.
- Advise architects, developers, and project teams and track agreed technical actions.
