Job summary

The Backend Developer with DevOps expertise is responsible for building and maintaining the systems and infrastructure for a Brain Training platform, ensuring stability and scalability. Key responsibilities include deploying and operating systems, developing new features for backend services using PHP 8.x, MySQL, Docker, and Kubernetes, and collaborating in a cross-functional, agile team.

• Solid experience with Docker & Kubernetes (2+ years) and managing deployments
• Strong backend skills in PHP 8.x and MySQL (including efficient SQL)
• Familiarity with Laravel Lumen or Slim, and MVC architecture
• Good testing habits (e.g., PHPUnit) and writing clean, maintainable code
• Experience with cloud platforms (Heroku, AWS)

• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate
