Qualifications

  • Excellent German language skills (C1 level minimum) in spoken and written
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or software development with a focus on automation and configuration management
  • Presence in the Hamburg office two days per week for team meetings
  • Profound knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management
  • Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
  • Knowledge of container technologies and orchestration
  • Experience with cloud platforms
  • Good programming and scripting skills
  • Problem-solving oriented work approach and team player

Responsibilities

  • Automate operational processes
  • Develop and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions
  • Automate recurring tasks like deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast and secure software delivery
  • Migrate classic Linux servers to Kubernetes environments
  • Support software development teams in using Kubernetes for their workloads
  • Automate network components in the on-premise data center
  • Develop and introduce a Secret Management System
  • Connect critical IT infrastructure components
  • Provide simple and secure access to credentials for applications and individuals
  • Implement automated recovery mechanisms to minimize system failures
  • Develop proactive monitoring solutions for early problem identification
  • Utilize Event-Driven Automation for autonomous anomaly response
  • Automate scaling of cloud and on-premise systems based on load forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with security guidelines through Compliance as Code
  • Optimize resources through automated capacity planning
  • Develop runbooks and playbooks for automated incident management
  • Use AIOps for log and metric analysis for early error detection
  • Collaborate with developers and operations teams for rapid problem resolution through automation
