Job summary

The IT Infrastructure Engineer role is essential for supporting and optimizing critical enterprise infrastructure across EMEA and globally. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining platforms such as VMware, Microsoft Azure, and Linux, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with IT teams to ensure system performance, security, and compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, Technical Support
• Strong knowledge of Compute and server platforms, Storage technologies, Virtualisation - VMware, Cloud platforms – Microsoft Azure, Networking

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure platforms including VMware, Microsoft Azure, Linux, Servers, Storage Platforms, Networking, Cloud Services
• Support infrastructure operations across multiple locations and customer-facing hybrid environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
• Support upgrades, patching, and configuration changes
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions
• Follow security, compliance, and governance requirements
• Participate in an on-call support rota when required
