Chinese Speaking DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Seeking a Chinese-speaking DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology team. This role involves designing and building infrastructure, automation, and delivery systems, acting as a critical link between software development, IT operations, and AI-driven engineering practices. The engineer will shape systems, drive improvements, and champion a strong DevOps and automation-first culture, including the adoption of AI-powered tooling.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or systems engineering roles
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell for automation and system management
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native architectures
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Familiarity with AI-powered DevOps tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants)
• Experience integrating AI/ML pipelines or model deployment workflows into CI/CD processes is a plus
• Openness to adopting and evaluating emerging AI-driven tools that enhance system reliability, monitoring, and operational workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines
• Continuously improve build, test, and deployment processes
• Take ownership of production system health, reliability, and performance
• Implement robust monitoring and observability solutions
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and optimize systems for stability, efficiency, and scalability
• Serve as a key escalation point during production incidents
• Lead root cause analysis and resolve critical issues
• Implement long-term fixes to ensure high availability and minimal downtime
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices
• Drive the adoption and optimization of containerization technologies and modern DevOps tooling
• Evaluate new tools, make strategic recommendations, and lead implementation
