Job summary

Build, deploy, operate, and maintain AWS infrastructure and application environments supporting enterprise Pub/Sub integrations. Provision resources with AWS CDK in Python and JavaScript and CloudFormation, and support Lambda, API Gateway, ECS workloads running Java and Python, Application Load Balancers, and NextGen Connect channels. The role also manages IAM and network security, observability, deployments, incident response, and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Senior-level AWS cloud engineering and DevOps experience building, operating, and troubleshooting production cloud resources.
• Experience managing NextGen Connect in a containerized AWS environment.
• Strong AWS CDK experience in Python and JavaScript and AWS CloudFormation experience, including reusable constructs, stack dependencies, parameters, outputs, deployment, and rollback.
• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting AWS Lambda and API Gateway applications.
• Hands-on experience operating ECS container applications and NextGen Connect environments behind Application Load Balancers.
• Strong AWS identity and access management experience, including IAM roles, policies, permission boundaries, least-privilege access, and access diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, update, and maintain AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Develop reusable infrastructure constructs, stack templates, environment configuration, deployment controls, and rollback procedures.
• Build, deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Lambda applications and API Gateway integrations.
• Build and maintain ECS container applications running Java, Python, and NextGen Connect services.
• Deploy and promote NextGen Connect channels and application configurations across environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot Application Load Balancers, listeners, target groups, routing, certificates, and health checks.
• Create and maintain IAM roles, policies, trust relationships, and least-privilege access controls.
• Manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, endpoints, DNS, and service connectivity.
• Implement operational visibility with logs, metrics, dashboards, alerts, traces, and health monitoring.
• Respond to incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and maintain runbooks and technical documentation.
