Job summary
The AWS platform and infrastructure automation engineer builds and operates reliable, secure cloud platforms for a mission-critical initiative in restricted environments, including settings where internet-connected tooling may be unavailable. The role develops infrastructure as code with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform; creates CI/CD workflows and repeatable deployments; automates configuration management and patching; and supports AWS WorkSpaces, Amazon EKS, and Systems Manager.

Qualifications
- At least 5 years of DevOps or cloud platform engineering experience
- Strong infrastructure-as-code experience, particularly AWS CDK with Python or TypeScript
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and Git-based engineering workflows
- Hands-on AWS cloud experience
- Ability to work effectively in highly controlled environments
- Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for applicable SCI read-on, indoctrination, and program-specific access approvals
- U.S. citizenship
- Residence within commuting distance of Herndon, Virginia; Washington, DC; Seattle, Washington; or Denver, Colorado
