Qualifications
- Skill and experience in DevOps Mainframe Operations Life Cycle Management
- Broad range of disciplines, environments, and automation best practices in automated operations
- Highly technical experience in Endevor software
- Familiarity with Zowe as an interface for DevOps
- Ability to provide assistance and recommendations to management and clients on automated operations topics
- Experience with REXX coding to enhance automation capabilities
- Understanding of Endevor concepts and practice
- Understanding and implementation of Endevor Components, ACM, PDM, Security interface, and Quick Edit
- Proficient with REXX programming languages
- Bachelor's Degree preferred and 8+ years’ experience with Endevor
- Firm understanding of Endevor processors and ability to create processors for program compiles and utilities like JCL check
- Familiarity with Changeman, ISPW, Librarian, Panvalet, and other competitor products to Endevor is a plus
- Ability to listen to client requirements and organize them into business needs and objectives
- Ability to provide written communication to project manager and customer regarding build and integrate instructions and task status
- Ability to communicate through knowledge transfer instructions for solution operation post-implementation
- Ability to follow a communication plan established by the project manager
- Ability to document clearly and communicate in writing project and task statuses
- Technical Bachelor's degree and/or up to 2 years of related experience or Master's degree
Responsibilities
- Analyze Life Cycle Management data requirements and provide solution modeling and implementation
- Review proposed solution plans for Endevor and automated operations
- Evaluate solution design, upgrade, conversion from other products, and implementation approaches
- Conduct hardware/software comparative evaluations related to Life Cycle Management
- Provide technical solution troubleshooting and post-implementation support
- Act as a consultant, recommending actions on technical areas regarding Life Cycle Management and DevOps
- Communicate current innovations and trends in Life Cycle Management
- Serve as a technical consultant and reference source
- Implement or upgrade Endevor, build processors, create inventory structures, and build application configuration of life cycle elements
- Script or code quick implementations to solve conversions from other products to Endevor
- Maintain deep knowledge of assigned product capabilities, specifically Mainframe DevOps Solutions
- Possess thorough knowledge of the competitive marketplace
- Articulate the value products deliver to customer initiatives
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, POCs, and RFx responses
- Install and configure assigned products in customer environments
- Identify client needs for all products in the CA portfolio
- Demonstrate effective partnering with internal and external partners
- Collaborate with other technical experts to develop detailed specifications
- Demonstrate effective time management
