Job summary

The Cloud AI Platform Engineer role focuses on developing and operating the cloud infrastructure for an AI platform on Azure and Google Cloud. Key responsibilities include integrating AI services, managing Kubernetes-based components, automating processes with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD, and ensuring security and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Cloud/Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering, ideally with critical platform or API services
• Completed degree in Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Extensive experience in Cloud, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering, ideally with Azure or Google Cloud
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD
• Good software engineering skills, preferably in Python, and experience with APIs and automated testing
• Experience with security, IAM, networking, observability, and operating productive platforms
• Strong platform engineering mindset with a passion for automation, standardization, and collaboration
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate cloud infrastructure for AI platform on Azure and Google Cloud
• Integrate central AI services with secure interfaces
• Manage Kubernetes-based platform components and services
• Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operations with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD
• Ensure security, access management, reliability, monitoring, and cost transparency
• Continuously improve the platform and support teams with standards and technical expertise
