Job summary

The Cloud Architect is tasked with designing and implementing cloud solutions that meet strategic objectives and technical requirements. This role involves analyzing business needs, creating governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with security standards like FedRAMP and FISMA while leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• advanced degree or industry certifications preferred
• extensive experience in cloud architecture and design
• deep understanding of cloud service models
• ability to architect solutions using multiple services
• experience with government security compliance standards
• knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks
• experience with microservices and serverless computing
• proficiency in scripting and programming for automation
• experience in risk assessment and management
• exceptional leadership and communication skills
