Job summary

Act as the primary point of contact for the Americas region within a global cloud engineering team. Contribute to the design, evolution, and governance of a Microsoft Azure Public Cloud platform. Define secure and scalable cloud architectures aligned with business requirements and regulatory constraints. Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting technologies. Maintain, upgrade, and support Azure services, including incident management and vendor coordination when required. Develop tools and frameworks to improve cloud operations, cost optimization, monitoring, and resiliency. Create reusable templates, reference architectures, and code samples to accelerate cloud adoption across teams. Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support efficient application delivery and testing processes. Ensure platform reliability, performance, availability, and operational excellence in production environments. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, training on cloud technologies and architectural best practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure, security, networking, and production operations.
  • Advanced experience with automation and scripting using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code solutions such as Terraform or Bicep.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Solid knowledge of security controls, governance, and compliance requirements within regulated environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide scalable cloud solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Exposure to FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
  • Experience designing and supporting highly available and resilient environments.
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Packer, and Chocolatey.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, DEC, or equivalent technical certifications.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills to collaborate effectively with international teams, stakeholders, and technology partners.
