Job summary
Capgemini is seeking a Cloud Architect for their Sovereign Cloud team to support major banks, financial service providers, and insurance companies. The role involves advising clients on cloud architecture, engineering leadership, and the use of modern AI and automation tools in cloud environments, as well as developing cloud platforms and landing zones. This position can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis.

Qualifications
- Relevant vocational training or a degree in (business) informatics or another MINT subject
- Experience in designing and working with Cloud Governance and Landing Zone Frameworks at enterprise level
- Ability to advise clients on sovereign cloud issues
- Knowledge of challenges and practical experience with private clouds
- Expertise in containers and serverless technologies, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Knative, or Lambda
- Experience in supporting and guiding teams in selecting the best solution for a given problem
- Knowledge in designing IaC solutions with Terraform, Biceps, CDK, and GitOps
- Knowledge in promoting the use of these technologies
- Ability to communicate and present convincingly
- Enjoy being part of a team
- Open to project-related travel
- Very good German and English language skills
Responsibilities
- Support global banks, financial service providers, and insurance companies in mastering industry challenges
- Advise clients on cloud architecture, engineering leadership, and the targeted use of modern AI and automation tools in cloud environments
- Maintain customer relationships and build strategic partnerships with clients
- Expand knowledge in the design and development of customized cloud-based solutions in StackIT, AWS, and/or Azure
- Develop cloud platforms and landing zones
- Assume a technical leadership role
- Drive innovation through technical expertise
- Support other engineers and architects through mentoring and coaching
- Work on further developing the portfolio with the team
- Share knowledge in technical workshops
