Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
• 10+ years of total experience
• 8 years of experience architecting and implementing cloud solutions
• 8 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on experience as a Cloud Architect with AWS expertise
• 8 years of experience with Git SCM providers
• 8 years of experience in Agile development
• 8 years of experience implementing infrastructure as code
• 8 years of experience with DevSecOps tooling and orchestration
• 5 years of experience in database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, or advanced analytics
• Must possess at least two certifications, including a cloud certification

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions
• Design cloud environments and demonstrate architectural knowledge
• Implement and oversee cloud strategies including migrations and optimization
• Establish development tools and infrastructure for automation
• Understand stakeholder needs and convey to developers
• Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Test and analyze code written by others
• Perform root cause analysis on complex processes and components
• Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identify technical problems and develop software updates
• Collaborate with developers to ensure established processes are followed
• Support enterprise cloud applications through infrastructure as code
• Document current environment state and perform gap analysis
• Leverage virtualization and containerization for optimization
• Mentor junior team members
• Engineer solutions and provide recommendations for improvement
• Present status updates and provide cross training
