Job summary
UBDS Group is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and evolution of complex cloud and hybrid environments, defining and governing cloud and infrastructure architectures while engaging with stakeholders to align technology investments with business outcomes.

Qualifications
- Significant experience in Enterprise, Infrastructure, or Cloud Architecture roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Experience developing and implementing CMDB strategies.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure management and service delivery models.
- Experience designing hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and Operational Architecture principles.
- Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-scale infrastructure and cloud architecture strategies.
- Define target-state architectures, roadmaps, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical assurance.
- Ensure architecture decisions support security, resilience, and performance.
- Design and implement cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions.
- Establish cloud adoption frameworks and governance models.
- Support cloud migration and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
- Define Infrastructure as Code and automation strategies.
- Implement CMDB strategy and governance models.
- Establish Configuration Management practices across services.
- Ensure accurate service mapping and asset relationships.
- Drive CMDB maturity improvements aligned with ITIL processes.
- Design operational architectures for availability and resilience.
- Develop operational models for monitoring and incident management.
- Improve service reliability and operational efficiency.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and client teams.
- Translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Provide thought leadership and mentoring.
