Job summary
The Cloud Data Center Specialist Platform Engineer will build and operate container platforms, design and implement GPU infrastructure, and automate deployment processes. This role involves developing APIs and CLI tools, and providing last-level support to platform stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable field with several years of professional experience, or a comparable vocational training with several years of professional experience.
- Several years of experience in platform engineering, including building and operating CaaS/IaaS platforms, security, compliance, and their integration into operations.
- Enjoy working with modern cloud technologies and possess sound experience in the administration and integration of platforms such as Kubernetes and virtualization platforms.
- Practical experience in automation and Everything as Code (e.g., IaC, GitOps).
- Structured work approach, solution-oriented thinking, and ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Ability to convey complex technical content clearly and skilled in advising platform users.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, virtualization layers) with integrated security, governance controls, and lifecycle management components (backup, restore, disaster recovery).
- Design, implement, and operate a high-performance GPU infrastructure for data-intensive applications and deep learning scenarios.
- Implement automation, deployment, and scaling processes, from Infrastructure-, Configuration-, and Policy-as-Code to GitOps.
- Develop APIs, CLI tools, and service catalogs to enable simple and secure self-service for development teams.
- Provide last-level support, analyze technical faults, configuration, and authorization issues, and collaborate closely with platform stakeholders, advising them on architecture and usage concepts and supporting their successful onboarding.
