Job summary
Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure supporting near-real-time geolocation solutions for decision makers and warfighters. The role develops reusable Infrastructure as Code modules, monitors system health, and improves resilience, recovery, and cost efficiency using AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, and container platforms. It also contributes architectures, runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications
- Five years of software development or engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
- Experience designing secure, scalable cloud architectures.
- Experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code.
- Knowledge of container and platform workloads.
- Development experience with Java and React.
- Experience configuring monitoring, logging, and alerting tools and responding to incidents.
- Experience implementing and testing backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Experience managing secrets, keys, certificates, and rotation policies.
- Experience optimizing cloud costs and performance and producing usage or cost reports.
- Experience troubleshooting networking, security, and cloud service limit issues.
- Experience documenting architectures, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Experience with Linux.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, including modernization and migration.
- Build reusable modules and enforce Infrastructure as Code development standards.
- Monitor infrastructure and system health, resolve issues, and improve efficiency.
- Develop failure recovery, backup, high availability, and cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Analyze cloud service benefits and usage costs.
- Contribute architectures, runbooks, operational procedures, and performance metrics.
- Share knowledge with internal teams and recommend system enhancements.
