Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Cloud engineer
- Hands-on experience in automation and infrastructure inflation for scaleout and scaleup
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using GCP Deployment Manager, Terraform, or Ansible
- Experience with microservices and distributed application architecture
- Experience using CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Artifactory
- Linux system administration experience
- Familiarity with databases (MySQL, Postgres, Redis) and their security
- Experience with monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls
Responsibilities
- Efficient development operations balancing service reliability and delivery speed
- Maintain skill in preferred cloud for software delivery pipelines and incident management
- Collaborate with engineering on patterns and practices for cloud controls
- Identify cloud inefficiencies and build a backlog for prioritization
- Enhance cloud engineering maturity through presentations and discussions
- Automate processes to minimize human intervention in cloud operations
- Support cloud incidents within the domain of responsibility
- Establish mechanisms for data collection on costs and efficiencies
