Job summary
Capgemini is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support financial services clients in their technological and cloud transformation journeys. The role involves implementing DevOps culture, automating processes, and ensuring the quality, stability, and security of customer environments. The engineer will work with modern concepts and tools, share knowledge, and bridge the gap between development and operations.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Developer
- Created a deployment pipeline in Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
- Implemented IaC pipelines from scratch with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates
- Knowledge of hyperscaler service specifics (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with AWS Secret Manager or Azure Key Vault in cloud projects
- Knowledge of on-premise products for secure storage of security-relevant and environment-specific parameters, certificates, or passwords
- Familiarity with Public-Key Infrastructures
- Developed in Java or C#
- Understanding of containerizing applications and ensuring stable operations through integration (e.g., Prometheus)
- Experience with Kubernetes service platforms, including administration, external connectivity, and automated deployment
- Knowledge of Kubernetes-specific topics like Deployments or Helm-Charts
- Proficiency in using the kubectl CLI
Responsibilities
- Live the DevOps culture and be responsible for the quality, stability, and security of customer environments
- Support financial services clients in their cloud transformation journey using modern provisioning concepts and tools
- Identify requirements and opportunities and implement them with your team
- Share knowledge in technical workshops and be inspired by new impulses from communities
- Communicate the benefits of cloud-native services to clients and contribute ideas for better and secure environment management
- Understand requirements for highly available infrastructures and backup strategies, considering cost-efficiency and practicality
- Bridge the gap between development and operations, breaking down outdated structures by inspiring others to work in product teams as a DevOps Engineer
