Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The Cloud DevOps Engineer at Fincons Group will manage database services on Microsoft Azure and AWS, ensuring operation according to standards. Responsibilities include implementing automation solutions, supporting cloud migrations, and performing monitoring and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Professional-level experience in database, platform, and cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience in administration and operation of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools like Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, and Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and standardized deployment processes.
• Fluent in German (C1/C2) and good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage relational and non-relational database services on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Administer, maintain, and optimize central database systems, especially Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Implement and maintain automation solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support cloud migrations and technical transformations.
• Implement backup, recovery, and high availability solutions for critical databases.
• Conduct performance monitoring and troubleshooting in database and cloud environments.
