Job summary

SOTI is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to design and implement scalable cloud engineering solutions using AWS/Azure. The role involves maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Understanding of database concepts and data modeling.
• Experience in agile methods like Scrum/XP and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience with AWS Core Services: CloudFormation, EC2, ECS, ELB, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python).
• Experience in setting up and troubleshooting AWS/Azure environments.
• Experience in designing and deploying scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in one technology domain and knowledge of others including API, Security, and AI/ML.
• Full-stack architecture design experience for large enterprises.
• Advanced skills in Linux and Windows.
• Knowledge of application architecture, networking, and software design principles.
• Self-motivated with strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject-matter expert in AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
• Design and implement scalable cloud engineering solutions using AWS/Azure.
• Implement CI/CD capabilities for infrastructure and applications.
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Maintain and improve existing CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to architecting cloud-native and on-premise solutions.
• Write infrastructure automation scripts and integrate with DevOps tools.
• Assist SRE and ensure uptime with architects and development teams.
• Ensure solutions are resilient, available, and performing well.
• Design and automate disaster recovery procedures for SOTI Cloud products.
• Own assigned modules focusing on solution quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to design discussions.
• Commit to quality execution and continuous improvement.
• Review code and provide feedback for best practices.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and processes.
• Mentor junior team members on design and coding standards.
• Identify and work on automation opportunities.
