Job summary

The Cloud DevSecOps Engineer at Regions focuses on developing and implementing secure cloud CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of related experience in Information Security or IT
• Four (4) years of relevant DevSecOps experience
• Experience in building/deploying cloud native applications like OpenShift and AKS
• Experience with real-time metrics in deployment strategies like Blue/Green and Canary Deployment
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud technologies
• Experience with secrets management solutions like Hashicorp Vault
• Familiar with Chaos engineering principles in pipelines
• Familiar with testing tools for automation and CI/CD integration
• Comfortable developing pipelines as code using YAML specs and Ansible playbooks

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate code builds, quality and security analyses, deployments, and automated testing through CI/CD pipelines
• Translate business needs into technology solutions
• Model CI/CD pipelines to communicate release candidate states and steps
• Design and develop autonomous CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments
• Ensure pipeline adherence to software engineering practices including automated tests
• Research new technologies to improve efficiency
• Implement scalable CI/CD platforms for high change volumes
• Automate operational activities and tasks
• Respond to performance issues related to CI/CD platforms
• Build tools to reduce errors and enhance customer experiences
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and ensure clear documentation for Root Cause Analysis
• Develop and test Ansible Playbooks, Terraform Scripts, and Packer Scripts
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, InfoSec, Software Delivery, and QA for cloud automation
• Ensure compliance with risk management and cybersecurity practices
