Cloud Engineer

Job summary

Build and deploy serverless applications and hybrid cloud architectures using AWS and Azure services. The role integrates generative AI foundation models, manages cloud databases and customer communication workflows, optimizes storage and content delivery, and secures cloud resources using technologies including AWS Lambda, Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker, RDS, DynamoDB, Amazon Connect, S3, CloudFront, IAM, and API gateways.

Qualifications

• Four years of hands-on cloud development experience; AWS preferred and Azure beneficial.
• Four years of experience with AWS Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
• Four years of experience implementing generative AI models using Bedrock or SageMaker.
• Three years of experience with Amazon Connect and CloudFront configurations.
• Three years of experience with cloud identity management, including IAM and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Six years of proficiency in Python, Node.js, SQL, or scalable backend languages.
• Seven years of ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex technical procedures.
• Three years of experience with Agile development, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• Design hybrid cloud architectures integrating AWS and Azure services.
• Integrate generative AI foundation models using Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker.
• Manage Amazon RDS and DynamoDB databases.
• Implement customer communication workflows using Amazon Connect.
• Configure Amazon S3 buckets and optimize content delivery with CloudFront.
• Manage cloud security, IAM roles, keys, secrets, and API gateways.
