Cloud Engineer (Azure, Terraform, Security)

Job summary

Je bent samen met een lead engineer verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en de doorontwikkeling van een productieplatform op Azure dat AI-, data- en cloudoplossingen ondersteunt. Je bouwt hub-spoke-infrastructuur met Terraform, verzorgt operationeel beheer en platformbeveiliging, automatiseert met GitHub Actions en GitOps, en documenteert architectuur, compliance en runbooks.

• Experience in a comparable role, such as SaaS or managed services.
• Operational cloud engineering experience managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting an environment.
• Hands-on Azure experience with VNets, subnets, private endpoints, Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, and security.
• Terraform experience writing modules, understanding state, and reviewing plans.
• Experience with Git and GitHub, including branches, pull requests, Actions workflows, and organization management.
• Security mindset focused on least privilege, default deny, and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Fluent spoken and written Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Develop hub-spoke infrastructure with Terraform, including modules, networking, and security.
• Manage platform operations, including monitoring, incidents, updates, and costs.
• Secure the platform using NSGs, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, private endpoints, and identity and access controls.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps.
• Manage the GitHub organization, repository structure, and OIDC configuration.
• Document architecture decisions, compliance evidence, and runbooks.
