Job summary
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the lifecycle management of AWS Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) Service and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Crossplane. This role involves configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring metrics in Prometheus/Grafana, and maintaining logging infrastructure. The engineer will also contribute to disaster recovery strategies, perform root cause analyses, and support operations.

Qualifications
- Completed degree with an IT-related focus
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in IT or banking with IT relevance
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code tooling (Crossplane, Terraform, Ansible)
- Expertise in technical and architectural evaluation of implementation proposals
- Several years of experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Gitlab
- Experience with Linux administration and scripting with Bash and Python
Responsibilities
- Manage lifecycle of AWS Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) Service
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Crossplane
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor metrics in Prometheus/Grafana and integrate with MSTeams
- Manage logging infrastructure (ELK, CloudWatch)
- Develop Disaster Recovery and High Availability strategies
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
- Contribute to manuals, runbooks, and other documentation
- Analyze and resolve problems independently
- Collaborate on Epics within the team
- Perform regular operations tasks, including incident management
