Job summary
The Cloud Engineer is tasked with designing, securing, and supporting critical cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable services globally. Responsibilities include operating cloud environments, deploying AWS, Azure, and GCP solutions, and developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. The role demands strong technical judgment and expertise in Terraform, AWS core services, and cloud networking.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS core services, including networking and automation.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking, including CIDR, routing, and security controls.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS IAM, including roles and permissions management.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Prometheus.
- 2+ years of experience working within ITSM and change management processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and operational health.
- Design, deploy, and secure multi-account AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and version-controlled configurations.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, validate backup and recovery processes.
- Administer identity federation and privileged access controls across cloud platforms.
- Enforce governance standards, including account management and resource tagging.
