Cloud Engineer

Job summary

Canada Life Group Services is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their growing Platform team, responsible for automating and developing a scalable cloud platform.

Qualifications

• Proficient in pipeline architecture and automation, preferably with Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Terraform, Helm, Kusto Query Language, Bash, and PowerShell
• Understanding of System Architectures, Software Engineering, and Agile practices
• Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Implement scalable solutions according to defined patterns and practices
• Write and manage declarative infrastructure using Terraform or Azure Bicep
• Implement identity and access management, network security groups, and encryption protocols
• Monitor and manage platform reliability using Azure-native tools
• Implement automation solutions using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Terraform
