Job summary
The Cloud Engineer builds and maintains secure, scalable cloud platforms across AWS and Microsoft Azure, supporting on-premises migrations and standardised enterprise deployments. The role develops Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation, contributes to landing zones and cloud governance, and works with application, security, operations, and business stakeholders. Key technologies include Terraform, Azure Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Understanding of infrastructure and application CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in multi-cloud and automated cloud environments.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps delivery models.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for automated provisioning and configuration.
- Implement automated deployment pipelines and support CI/CD delivery.
- Contribute to landing zones and platform standardisation across AWS and Azure.
- Coordinate with application, security, and operations teams on integration and deployment.
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to standards and governance frameworks.
- Align technical solutions with business and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain design, automation, and operational documentation.
