Job summary

The Cloud Data Platform Engineer role is essential for advancing a Google Cloud-based data ecosystem that supports enterprise analytics and AI-driven capabilities. Responsibilities include engineering, administering, and optimizing large-scale cloud data platforms, utilizing Google Cloud services like BigQuery and Cloud Composer, and implementing CI/CD automation with tools such as GitHub Actions. This position requires collaboration with various teams to enhance platform reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting, engineering, or administering enterprise-scale cloud data platforms
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services
• Strong knowledge of IAM, VPC Service Controls, and BigQuery security best practices
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of cloud services
• Experience with Terraform or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD automation
• Advanced Python scripting experience
• Strong proficiency with SQL performance tuning
• Experience building operational dashboards and reporting solutions
• Experience with incident management and ticketing platforms
