Job summary
Converge Technology Solutions UK is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to enhance their Managed Services capability, providing Microsoft cloud engineering expertise across multiple customer environments.
Qualifications
- Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies
- Full UK driving licence
Responsibilities
- Deliver 2nd/3rd line BAU support for Microsoft cloud services
- Administer and improve Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and related services
- Act as a trusted advisor on governance, security, compliance, and best practices
- Support pre-sales activities and contribute to solution design
- Contribute to the continual improvement of Microsoft cloud services
- Work with project teams for solution delivery and transition
- Conduct proactive monitoring and health checks
- Maintain compliance with frameworks and standards
- Investigate incidents and contribute to problem management
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Provide coaching to Service Desk and Managed Services colleagues
- Support onboarding of new customers
- Stay updated on Microsoft roadmap changes and service opportunities
