Job summary

FERCHAU is seeking a Cloud Engineer / DevOps to design and develop modern cloud architectures using leading IaaS and cloud-native technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar
• Experience in software development with at least one programming language
• Proficient in Linux and container technologies
• Experience in data structures, algorithms, and scalable application design
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code practices
• Familiar with cloud-native platform operations and maintenance
• Analytical and structured working style
• Fluent in German and English

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern cloud architectures
• Operate, scale, and secure the global cloud platform
• Automate processes and build efficient deployments
• Develop tools and services for cloud-native applications
• Collaborate with software and DevOps teams
• Coordinate with stakeholders and partners on cloud requirements
• Document architecture, operations, and development processes
