Qualifications

  • Secret clearance required
  • IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or appropriate DoDM 8570 Baseline Certification) required
  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions in AWS and/or Azure environments
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation
  • Experience implementing automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Azure Functions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM/ICAM) technologies
  • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, and cloud security principles
  • Familiarity with Federal Government cybersecurity and compliance frameworks
  • Experience supporting production enterprise environments in an operations and maintenance capacity
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure environments
  • Deploy and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using automation and orchestration tools
  • Support enterprise cloud modernization initiatives, including migration of on-premises services and workloads to cloud environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 3 cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, and application issues
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and architecture teams to ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise standards and mission requirements
  • Contribute to cloud architecture design efforts supporting scalable, resilient, and highly available environments
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
  • Enforce cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, optimization, and cost efficiency improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and engineering standards
  • Support continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and user experience
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and operations personnel
