Qualifications
- Secret clearance required
- IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or appropriate DoDM 8570 Baseline Certification) required
- Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions in AWS and/or Azure environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation
- Experience implementing automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Azure Functions
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM/ICAM) technologies
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, and cloud security principles
- Familiarity with Federal Government cybersecurity and compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting production enterprise environments in an operations and maintenance capacity
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure environments
- Deploy and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using automation and orchestration tools
- Support enterprise cloud modernization initiatives, including migration of on-premises services and workloads to cloud environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 3 cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, and application issues
- Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and architecture teams to ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise standards and mission requirements
- Contribute to cloud architecture design efforts supporting scalable, resilient, and highly available environments
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
- Enforce cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, optimization, and cost efficiency improvements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and engineering standards
- Support continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and user experience
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and operations personnel
