Job summary

The Cloud Engineer role is essential for ensuring the operational continuity, security, and evolution of IT platforms supporting genomics products. Responsibilities include monitoring application availability, automating deployment processes, and maintaining compliance with security standards like ISO 27001 and HDS, utilizing technologies such as AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management (Terraform).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, ArgoCD).
• Programming skills in Python and Go.
• Experience with code management and deployment solutions (GitLab).
• Preferred engineering degree.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Collaborative communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IT platforms and systems for application availability and security.
• Implement performance indicators, handle alerts, and resolve incidents.
• Propose long-term solutions to improve operations and platform stability.
• Collaborate with vendors to enhance infrastructure performance.
• Design and maintain infrastructure for internal and external applications.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure management processes.
• Optimize infrastructure costs.
• Ensure compliance with security standards like ISO 27001 and HDS.
• Execute security controls and maintain ISMS documentation.
• Support Engineering and Business teams with infrastructure needs.
• Identify improvement opportunities for internal team efficiency.
