Job summary

As a Cloud Engineer II at ICON, you will design, build, deploy, and support secure cloud solutions across major platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Qualifications

• strong hands-on expertise in Azure, AWS or GCP
• familiar with modern CI/CD deployment practices
• strong scripting or automation skills
• familiarity with cloud security principles
• ability to mentor junior team members

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and support secure cloud solutions
• Provide hands-on engineering expertise for cloud infrastructure deployment
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy and operate containerised workloads and cloud-native services
• Implement cloud networking and access management
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security and operations teams
• Advise on cloud patterns and deployment approaches
• Contribute to platform engineering with reusable templates
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Support cloud migration and platform engineering initiatives
• Continuously optimise cloud environments for performance and cost
• Support FinOps and cost accountability practices
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
