Job summary
The Cloud Services Engineer III role is centered on delivering financial insights related to cloud services within an Infrastructure and Operations organization. Key responsibilities include generating reports for multi-cloud platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting the FinOps team in data modeling, and analyzing cloud hosting costs to provide optimization recommendations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial principles and business analytics
- Ability to work with multiple internal teams
- Understanding of applications development environment
- Ability to analyze and produce insights from large datasets
- Strong analytical background with technology understanding
- Experience with advanced Excel functions
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBMCloud
Responsibilities
- Produce insightful reports for multi-cloud platforms
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams globally
- Support the FinOps team with setting goals/KPIs
- Partner with the Cloud Governance team
- Analyze and forecast cloud hosting costs
- Provide cost optimization recommendations
- Create and maintain month-end and quarter-end reports
- Use Agile methodology for planning and execution
- Make data-driven decisions
- Collect requirements for automation projects
