Job summary
Design, secure, automate, and support cloud infrastructure and platform services for the IMDS/MSM application, helping modernize systems that support Air Force maintenance and readiness operations. The role develops Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD automation, supports containers and orchestration, monitors operational health, and addresses security and compliance needs across legacy and modern technologies including COBOL, C#, Python, SQL, TypeScript, and Angular.

Qualifications
- At least 7 years of infrastructure, platform, systems, or cloud engineering experience.
- Experience with enterprise cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Cloud One.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code and automation.
- Experience supporting containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevSecOps processes.
- Experience supporting enterprise application platforms, integrations, and deployment environments.
- Experience supporting applications using COBOL, C#, Python, SQL, TypeScript, Angular, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, secure system design, and cloud security.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Local to Montgomery, Alabama.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure for IMDS/MSM.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and automation capabilities.
- Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevSecOps tooling.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, testing, and releases.
- Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and operational health.
- Implement cloud security controls and compliance requirements.
- Support application modernization and system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, deployment, integration, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with developers, database engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and infrastructure teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Support vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity compliance.
