Job summary
Seeking a Junior-Level Cloud Engineer to define and support implementation approaches for cloud performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or 9 years of work experience as a Cloud Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in government or industry supporting or leading cloud-based systems engineering efforts
- Experience using Jenkins CI/CD, GitLab, JavaScript
- Desired: One or more Cloud Certifications
- Experience in scripting/automation via PowerShell, VBscript, AutoIT, Python or similar
Responsibilities
- Define and support implementation approaches for cloud performance and reliability
- Conduct analysis and make engineering recommendations
- Monitor and report on cloud utilization
- Plan continuous process improvement
- Apply principles of cloud native development
- Leverage software, platform, and infrastructure as a service for GEOINT solutions
- Ensure efficiencies for cloud services utilization
- Integrate systems by creating new APIs
- Create and maintain automated software deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools
