Job summary

Seeking a full-time Cloud Engineer to support Azure cloud operations, infrastructure, and platform initiatives with a focus on cloud security best practices.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of cloud engineering, infrastructure, or IT operations experience (Azure preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Azure services: App Services, Functions, VNets, RBAC.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Exposure to .NET application deployment and management.
• Understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security fundamentals.
• Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent).
• Azure AZ-900 certification.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a production cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure App Services, Function Apps, storage accounts, and API Management.
• Deploy and manage application environments (UAT, staging, production) following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure or application availability issues.
• Monitor infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Support identity and access configurations (VNets, RBAC, managed identities).
• Maintain and update Azure DevOps pipelines for .NET applications.
• Implement and improve automated testing and security scanning in CI/CD workflows.
• Support application deployments across environments.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and document deployment procedures.
• Administer Azure DevOps platform, including project configuration and permissions.
• Integrate security tools into deployment pipelines.
• Apply cloud security best practices across infrastructure and configurations.
• Support identity and access management tasks.
• Implement and maintain security controls for compliance.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts.
• Advocate for secure practices in cloud operations.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Bicep or Terraform.
• Develop and improve PowerShell and Bash scripts for automation.
• Version control infrastructure code in Git.
• Administer Microsoft 365 cloud services.
