Cloud Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

Südzucker AG is seeking a Cloud Engineer to administer, monitor, and develop their IT infrastructure, automate new systems in a Hyperconverged Infrastructure and Azure Cloud, and implement Azure Cloud concepts. The role involves creating and maintaining system documentation, handling 3rd level support, and participating in international projects.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in computer science or comparable education
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Very good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, Powershell, and Azure Devops
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and Azure Cloud Services
• Knowledge of Azure Bicep is an advantage
• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Results-oriented, solution-oriented, and proactive work ethic
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and develop existing IT infrastructure
• Automate and script new systems and components in a Hyperconverged Infrastructure (Azure Stack HCI) and Azure Cloud
• Implement Azure Cloud concepts (IaC, IaaS)
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Process incidents as part of 3rd level support
• Participate in international projects
