Cloud Engineer

Job summary

This Cloud Engineer role supports personalized healthcare technology by maintaining and improving shared CI/CD pipelines and cloud delivery infrastructure. The work includes automating provisioning and deployments, monitoring and troubleshooting systems across development, testing, and production, and improving security, reliability, and compliance. The technology stack includes Azure DevOps Pipelines, AWS, Azure or GCP, Terraform or CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Practical experience deploying and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, or ability to learn it quickly.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong Git and version control workflow knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Upper-intermediate or higher spoken and written English.
• Preferred: software engineering experience or familiarity with software workflows.
• Preferred: configuration management experience.
• Preferred: advanced Linux or Unix skills, including shell scripting and system operations.
• Preferred: experience with AI-assisted tools for scripting, troubleshooting, and documentation, with critical review of generated output.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shared CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates for build, test, and release processes.
• Collaborate with developers to adopt and improve delivery practices across products.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Monitor and optimize build environments and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Maintain system security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Maintain cloud DevOps tools and processes and evaluate emerging technologies.
