Job summary

Designs, automates, secures and supports cloud environments across AWS and Azure for data, analytics and AI/ML workloads. The role uses Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native services, including AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, S3, Glue and Lambda, while maintaining security, governance, reliability and operational controls.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of Cloud Engineering experience with strong AWS experience.
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience supporting data, analytics and AI/ML workloads in AWS.
  • Experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, EMR, SageMaker and Bedrock.
  • Experience with serverless and container technologies, including Lambda, Docker, ECS, EKS and Fargate.
  • Experience with Python and Linux shell scripting.
  • Experience using Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
  • Understanding of cloud security and governance practices.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain cloud environments across AWS and Azure.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar tools.
  • Automate cloud provisioning, deployment and operational processes.
  • Build and operate cloud platforms for data, analytics and AI/ML workloads.
  • Support AWS AI services, including Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon Q, Comprehend, Textract and Kendra.
  • Apply cloud security best practices and least-privilege access.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure availability and performance.
  • Manage change, release, incident and problem processes.
  • Maintain operational documentation, standards and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver cloud initiatives.
